Language, Culture and Skills: The Potential of Content-Based Instruction. The latest developments in foreign-language teaching and learning at non-philological faculties show the movement towards English-medium courses and study programmes. The workshop will touch upon some pedagogical problems connected with the content-based instruction and look at principles that enhance the learning of content through a foreign langauge and develop academic skills of students. Examples from the course of culture studies will be discussed.
