Storytelling for Students of Teacher Training Programmes
Michaela Sepešiová, Slovakia, ID LLCE2016-371; Storytelling has been applied predominantly in primary classes for developing both receptive and productive language competences with young learners. The article discusses the findings from a designed methodology course for the students of EFL teacher training programmes. Moreover, it illustrates some experience with designing and developing the course. Firstly, the course was meant to focus on story telling techniques. The author considered the comments and outcomes of needs analysis. Furthermore, the article presents the data obtained from the questionnaires and interviews aimed at course perceptions.
