Registration fees

LLCE2023 participants will compose the registration fee according to their own preferences, consisting of 3 components: basic registration + publishing fee + social events fees.
The registration fee does not include accommodation, evening meals and publication fees for journals.
 
 
1) Basic registration fees:

A. The basic 3-day registration fee for in-person participants (240,- EUR) includes:

  • admission to all plenaries and sessions
  • refreshments during the breaks on the 12th and 13th of October
  • a conference bag (including a conference information package, tourism information package, conference materials, etc.)

  • Attendance and/or Author certificates
  • an abstract reviewing process and abstract publishing costs (web, e-Book of Abstracts),
  • a conference paper reviewing process for the JoLaCE journal and/or the conference proceedings (depending on the author´s choice)

B. The basic 2-day registration fee for in-person participants (210,- EUR) includes:

  • admission to all plenaries and sessions
  • refreshments during the breaks on 12th and 13th October
  • a conference bag (including a conference information package, tourism information package, conference materials, etc.)
  • attendance and/or Author certificates
  • an abstract reviewing process and abstract publishing costs (web, e-Book of Abstracts),
  • a conference paper reviewing process for the JoLaCE journal and/or the conference proceedings (depending on the author´s choice).

C. The basic 1-day registration fee for in-person participants (180,- EUR) includes:

  • admission to all plenaries and sessions
  • refreshments during the breaks on the day of registration
  • a conference bag (including a conference information package, tourism information package, conference materials, etc.)
  • attendance and/or Author certificates
  • an abstract reviewing process and abstract publishing costs (web, e-Book of Abstracts),
  • a conference paper reviewing process for the JoLaCE journal and/or the conference proceedings (depending on the author´s choice).
 

D. The registration fee for online participants (150,- EUR) includes:

  • digital space in a virtual session of the conference,
  • a conference bag (including a conference information package, tourism information package, conference materials, etc.)
  • attendance and/or Author certificates
  • an abstract reviewing process and abstract publishing costs (web, e-Book of Abstracts),
  • conference paper reviewing process for the JoLaCE journal and/or the conference proceedings (depending on the author´s choice)
  • shipment costs (each registered virtual author will receive their conference bag with all conference materials and gifts, both attendance and author certificates, as well as an invoice of the registration fee via regular post. The shipment will be made after the conference).
     
2) Publishing fees:
- e-Book of Abstracts = free of charge
- e-Book of Proceedings = free of charge
- paper in Journal of Language and Cultural Education* = max 1 paper per author, a reduced fee of 150,- EUR (a regular fee for 2023 is 185,- EUR)
* Conference participants are not bound to publish their final papers in the conference journals. Therefore, publishing fees have been separated from the basic conference fees.
 
3) Social events:

- The Original Valletta Walking Tour (3 hours) with an English-speaking guide on 12 October = 20,- EUR

- A full-day tour to Mosta, Mdina, and Rabat from Valletta = 60,- EUR

How to proceede

1. Submit your abstract

2. You will receive the letter of abstract acceptance/rejection.

3. Submit your registration form.

4. You will receive the invoice.

5. Pay your conference fee.

6. You will receive the payment confirmation and confirmation that your registration has been completed.

7. Your presentation will be scheduled in the conference programme.

8. Submit your final paper.


 

Registration deadline for all authors and attending participants: November 22nd, 2019 (included). 

 

All participants, including the attending-only and non-presenting conference participants, are kindly asked to submit a registration form (one per participant). It is necessary to be registered to get into the conference area (as author or as general public). There are two types of registration forms:

Registration form 01: for plenary speakers, regular paper authors, virtual paper authors, workshop authors & poster authors.

Registration form 02: for attending-only participants, accompanying persons, and general audience.

 

Note: The second, third, etc. authors who will attend the conference in person are asked to fill in the registration form 02. The second, third, etc. authors who do not attend the conference in person do not need to register (they, however, will be given their certificates of authors and certificates of attendence via the attending author´s conference package). 

 

Confirmation of registration: Registration will be completed once the corresponding proof of payment has been received by: slovakedu@gmail.com. Depending on the way of your payment, it may take up to 4 days for definitive confirmation of your payment, after which a receipt containing your registration details will be issued.

 

Personal data protection

According to the Law 122/2013 of the Slovak Republic on Personal Data Protection, we guarantee the confidentiality of the personal data. Therefore, the personal data collected through registration forms (name, academic titles, e-mail, address, phone/skype/facebook contacts) will be used only for the aims that are specified in the registration form (organising the conference, collecting and processing abstracts, corresponding with authors and other participants). You can exercise the right of access, modification, cancellation or opposition by a written request to SlovakEdu (slovakedu@gmail.com).

Payment & cancellation

Registration fees should be paid only AFTER receiving the invoice from the organisational committee.

The registration fee can be paid via:

a) PayPal

b) WesternUnion

WesternUnion charges you a service fee (15-20 USD) when you make a money transfer. Please contact the CLEaR2015 Organising Committee to ask for the recipient’s information.

c) a bank transfer to the following bank account:

Invoices of the registration fees (in pdf) will be sent to all participants via e-mail along with their registration notifications. The printed and signed copies of invoices will be provided along with the other conference materials in conference bags on October 12th, 2023.

Cancellation

  • A 35 EUR administration fee is taken for cancellation.
  • A full refund (- 35 EUR) will be given for cancellations received before September 15th, 2023 (included).
  • No refund will be given for cancellations received after September 15th, 2023.
